Apex Legends Stuck On Loading Screen

Apex Legends is a free-to-play battle royale shooting game developed by Respawn Entertainment and published by Electronic Arts. Meanwhile, Apex legends players report being stuck on the loading screen issue on PC while launching it.

In this article, we will show you how you can fix the stuck loading screen issue on a PC. So if you’re having a problem while launching the game and it’s stuck on the loading screen then you can try these tips & tricks to solve the problem.

Method 1. Check System Requirement

Make sure that your system requirement meets Apex Legends System requirements. Apex legends are one of the highly graphic games which really matter in this play. If your system requirement doesn’t meet the requirement then you should try to upgrade your PC and try again to run the game.

  • Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
  • OS: 64-bit Windows 7

  • Memory: 6 GB RAM

Method 2. Increase Virtual RAM

If you’re running out of virtual RAM then you have to increase it manually, Virtual RAM combines your RAM with temporary space on your hard disk. Let’s see how to do that.

Step 1. Click on Windows Logo and type Advanced system settings in the search bar.

Step 2. Now click on a View advanced System settings.

Step 3. Now click on settings and click on the Advanced tab and click on Change.

Step 4. After that uncheck the box next to Automatically Manage Paging File Size For All Drives.

Step 5. Now select your C: drive [In which drive your windows is installed] and click the Options button which is next to the custom size and type 4096 in the text box of Initial size (MB) and Maximum size (MB).

Note: If you do that increase the virtual RAM 3x higher than your current RAM size. 1GB=1024MB.

Step 6. After that click on set and then OK to save changes.

After that restart your computer and try to run the game.

Method 3. Clean Your Computer

it’s been a long time since to clean your computer then you should try this. Remove your computer cabinet panels and gently remove RAM, Hard disk, and also check your graphics card then clean the slots with an air blower after that replace all components, and run the game again.

Method 4. Update System & GPU Drivers

If your windows are not updated then update your windows first, install the latest patches to fix the issue and then if your graphic driver is not updated then update your GPU if you don’t know how to do that down below follow our steps.

  • Right-click on This PC icon on your desktop and click on manage.
  • Now click Device Manager on the left side of the panel and double click on Display adapters to drop down the list.
  • Now right-click on GPU driver and click on Update Driver.
  • After that window will appears and Choose to Search automatically for drivers.
  • If the driver’s updates are available then it automatically downloads and installs on your computer.
  • Once when everything is done then Restart your computer to apply changes.

Method 5. Close Background & System Start-up Running Programs

When Power on our computer some of the start-ups start running in the background automatically and simply closing unnecessary background running programs can slow down your computer and also cause your game. Let’s see to how to close unnecessary programs.

Step 1. Open task manager or you can also open task manager by pressing Ctrl+Shift+Esc.

Step 2. Click on the Processes tab and choose the program that you want to close and Right-click on it.

Step 3. Now click on the End Task to close the program.

Step 4. Now click on the Startup apps tab and do that same to thing close the startup unnecessary program.

Method 6. Update Apex Legends

This is a very common thing that we always forget about the game needs an update. If it doesn’t check whether your game is updated or not then is probably a better option to check that once and update the game it might fix your loading screen issue.

Method 7. Verify Game Files

Sometimes game files are corrupted due to some reason or I don’t know why but if it’s happened and because of this the game is not running then you should recheck the game files.

  • Run Steam and click on the Library.
  • Right-click on the Apex Legends.
  • Now click on the properties and go to Local Files.
  • After that click on Verify integrity of game files.
  • And wait until the process is completed.
  • After that restart your computer and run the game again.
