How To Take Windows Registry Backup
Taking a Windows registry backup it’s not that hard Frist press the Windows key or click on the start button and search regedit or you can press Win+R and type Regedit and hit enter to open the registry.

Once when you open Windows Registry then Right-click on the value that you want to take a backup and click on the export. This file will save as a .reg file format you can choose any location on your hard drive choose some safe place to save the registry file and give it a memorable name like Registry Backup DD-MM-YYYY so you don’t forget Which date you take a backup of your Windows Registry.

After the Backup is completed the registry backup doesn’t have a big file size after backing up the entire registry file is about 460MB.
How To Restore Windows Registry Backup
Now after messing up some registry and you have done something wrong and you won’t know how to fix this now that the time when you use your Windows Registry Backup.
So let’s see how to do that first open the Registry by pressing the Windows key or clicking on the start button and searching regedit or you can press Win+R and type Regedit and hit enter to open the registry to restore the backup.

After that click on File>Import and now browse the file where you saved your backup and click on open to confirm. After that, you will see the message of the keys and values in the file added successfully to your Registry.
