How To Change Windows 11 System Font

All the latest Windows comes with new features but the system font is always the same now is boring to see the default system font, but what if we don’t like this font and we want to change the font, of course, you can do that with help of registry to change Windows 11 default system font. Create REG File To Change The Default System Font

Windows 11 doesn’t allow changing the default system font but we can do that with the help of the registry so carefully follow our instructions to change the system font otherwise deleting keys and editing any values in the registry cause Windows 11 damage.

Choose The Font You Want

First, choose the font that is already installed on your computer by viewing Fonts Windows.

Click on the Search icon and type Font Settings or Open Settings>Personalization>Fonts.

Now scroll and find the font you like and if you don’t like any font you can download and install more fonts.

Once you find the font note his name for example we gonna use this Comic Sans MS this is the name of your example font.

Create REG File

You can do that by manually modifying using the Registry editor or you can create a pre-defined registry file that automatically applies to your system by double clicking on it. So we gonna use the easiest way to change the system font.

Open Notepad and Copy and Paste the following text on your Notepad.

Now change the “NEW-FONT” into “your chosen font name” for example we choose “Comic Sans Ms”.

Now click on Save as or press Ctrl+S and name the file whatever you want and then put the “.reg” extension at the end. It is necessary to use this .reg extension otherwise it won’t work.

Use REG File To Change System Font

Just double-click on the reg file you created and you’ll get a warning pop-up untrusted REG file can harm your computer. But you can trust us and nothing I have to say it’s up to you. If you agree then click on Yes and restart your computer.

Go Back To Default System Font

After using this font and you don’t want to stick with this font permanently then you need to create another REG file to install Default System Font just like before we created reg this we use different codes. Copy and paste the following text into the new notepad file.

Now save this with the .reg extension like we did before then run it and the warning pop-up click on Yes and restart your computer. Go back to the default system font.
