How To Edit Scanned PDF Files In Adobe Acrobat DC

Before editing the PDF do this setting on your Adobe Acrobat DC if doesn’t have Adobe Acrobat DC download and install first, then you can enable OCR to run automatically in the background. OCR helps you to convert text or image files into editable text.

Step 1. Open Adobe Acrobat DC and in the top-left corner click on the File option and then click on Open.

Step 2. Browse your scanned PDF file, select the file, and open it.

Step 3. After that on the Adobe Ribbon click on Tools and in the Create & Edit section click on edit PDF it will be performing page recognition.

Step 4. On the right-hand side, there is a toolbox section, scroll down and search for Scanned Documents Group and click on Setting.

Step 5. After that, a dialog box appears in Recognize Text in, select your language.

Step 6. After that, you can tick the box Use available System Font for default system font.

Step 7. Tick the second box Make all the pages editable if you want to edit all the text and click on OK to save the setting.
